BRASSAI - What a magical image!
Our next exhibition is nearly upon us!
Its not long until our exhibition of Pop Art, poster art and celebrity culture opens - here's a little piece to update you.
The next exhibition held at Gallery 42 will be the last one before the year is out, so we've decided to celebrate a variety of things loosely based on celebrities, branded culture and pop and posterous art. Less formal than our other exhibitions, we hope that this exhibition will make a wide variety of imagery accessible and interpretable for our audience.
Aspects of this exhibition will relate to the talk Steve is giving on Dalí (click here), in which he discusses Dalí and other misunderstandings within 20th Century Art. Figures spoken about will include Picasso, Lichtenstein and Warhol - the latter two with work (prints) in this exhibition.
There will also be some original material, including some from me, which is nice.

The exhibition opens with a preview evening this Friday night (22nd Nov 2013). All welcome - 7pm start. Light refreshments and live music.
