Janet Rogers trained at Reigate College of Art. She then worked in a London fabrics department and at an Oxford publishing house before turning her full attention to her art, which is widely collected both in the UK and in the US. Her work has distinct sculptural qualities to it, surreal in some ways and in others very logical. Her influences include the painter, Samuel Palmer.
