L S Lowry (b. 1887 - d. 1976) is widely regarded as one of the greatest British artists of the 20th Century and perhaps the most famous Northern naive painter ever to have lived. The world has never had a greater appetite for Lowry than in the past two years. A major retrospective of his work ran at the Tate Britain from June 2013 and last year another retrospective was held in China, his first overseas. Lowry's matchstick men and solemn landscapes have become truly timeless, not just as symbols of Northern British art, but of Northern Britain itself.

Unfortunately, we have now sold all of our signed Lowry prints. If you would like information on where to find genuine signed Lowry prints, or on our remaining unsigned stock, please contact us.
